What do you send someone who is in the hospital?

My brother in law was in a nasty ski accident. He will be in the hospital for a few days, then he will be home, but pretty much staying put once he gets there. I want to send a care package to my sis and him, any suggestions as to what to send? I already have a handheld video game, sudoku puzzles, and a sketch pad and pencils.

If you didnt already, you might want to try to send him something like a card saying something that will make him smile or laugh hard enough to forget about the pain. that will definitly make him feel better!

maybe a few good snacks, coffees (if they are into it) teas? Maybe some cozy socks/slippers for him?

Send him something that can amuse him while in the hospital… Like a new game or something… Preferbly a book.

A box of popcorn,hard candy,a bell to ring if he needs help(haha),a movie rental gift card,batteries for the remote, and a dinner cassarole to eat when you go visit them….Oh, lotion for him to keep his skin from itching…
