I live in California–why do you think we are BROKE. When I go to the local clinic it is full with spanish speaking people. I was the only person that morning that PAID CASH for my check up. I watched and listened to what was said(I speak spanish). They did’nt have to pay a dime—ALL ON THE TAX PAYERS!!!!! Wake up America!

Don’t “cure”, “Stabilize” them. When’s the last time someone has been “Cured” of anything? A broken leg is over 6 months, Cancer or mental health issues, the cure in most cases is death. Is that what you mean by “Curing” them?
Stablize them for the trip to the Embassey of their origin and say “So long!”

I lose money often in treating patients because malpractice premiums are going up, reimbursement is going down, and increasing government paperwork and regulation. You really should not make blanket statements about physician reimbursement when you have no idea! Oh, by the way, I have 100,000 in school loans and work almost 80 hours per week.

Sheriff Joe is doing his job in Arizona. Now the Feds are after him. Anyone who bucks the system is being ruined. Why? Have any of you wrote letters to back up Sheriff Joe? Our area was completely different, in fact, it was great! after Sheriff Joe came through Mesa, AZ and picked up bunches of illegal. It was clean and now it is trashed again here since they know our leaders won’t do anything or what we want.

Unbelievable! I agree there should be regulation of outrageous medical–specifically pharma–costs and make it easier for patients to scrutinize their own billings, however; we have an excellent health care system in the US. We have choices, but to enjoy the freedom of those choices, you should be a citizen (aka tax payer). As for illegals, the only solution I see is more control of our borders. Hard to deny life-saving care to someone already in the country!
