    No, poofs.
You asked “Who doesn’t love Hill’s Angels?” to which I replied “Poofs”, i.e. chaps who bat for the other team.

greetings form greece. benny is a legend here too. his show was like #1 in ratings back in the 80’s. english sense of humor is VERY diffrent from greek but benny is universal. the only nice thing that stupid island created. oh and the black adder was cool too.

Is so! Like you’ve never been pushed out of bed by a doctor so he could pretend to be you and have his willy washed.

Lol, I wasn’t saying that it’s less classy than Monty Python. Just that it’s less funny…to me.
*shrugs* Obviously some people like this a lot. I shouldn’t knock people’s comedy; folks have different senses of humor. I guess the comparison just miffed me a little.

Correct BestManMe09: being from Argentina myself, I tell you that Benny Hill Show was a formidable TV show here, there were no human beings in these lands that could say He or She never saw his fantastic TV show, absolutely popular here in South America, there’s no doubt. Still today, there’s no people that can say He or She never heard about him, even teenagers know him. Superb!

A book called Benny Hill Story written by John Smith (and available at amazon) shows that Hill’s show was considered better than Monty Python by a WWOR in New Jersey! Ands that Hill’s show was an enormous success in South America!

It’s almost a surrealist approach on comedy by this superb entertainer called Benny Hill…. One of the ultimate showman actors there ever was…. Typical english-made comedy, silent high quality comedy, I should say a simple kind of comedy were this genius always managed to put on a show… R.I.P. to this fantastic man! Cheers from Argentina, and many thanks for posting this unvaluable work piece of art by Benny Hill, truly one of the Greatest of the Greats! A true artist! Peace! ;-)

I dont know if he can be associated with British comedy as such, he was a comedian himself and created his own style, not exactly a textbook British comedian like Monty Python or even Mr. Bean. Many of his ideas of course were taken from pre-war American comedy.
